About our dogs....We consider ourselves very lucky to have both been raised in dog loving families and not having a dog was never an option for us.  We purchased our first pure blooded Aussie in the late summer  of 2005.  We had previously  had a few Aussie mixes in the family. Or what was "purebred" without papers.  We loved the Aussie temperament and over the top personality!

When we purchased our first purebred with papers, Dixie, we set out with the goal of finding a dog that would be an additional member of the family.  We are active and outdoorsy and wanted a dog that could keep up with that.  Dixie fit the bill to a T. We couldn't have been happier with her. Sadly, we lost her in a tragic accident on December 26th, 2006.

Becky especially LOVES her Aussie's and there temperaments - but be forewarned - it is not a breed for everyone! If you are considering an Aussie - PLEASE get to know several breeders and read the breed standard!!  There are WAY too many that end up in shelters and rescue programs because of a human's lack of judgement! They are a busy dog and MUST be kept busy to avoid a plethora of destructive behaviors!!

It didn't take long to KNOW without a doubt, that we wanted another Aussie.  We became the owners of "Acey". As most Aussie enthusiasts will tell you - "you can't have just one!"  We couldn't either. Meet "Juice", our second purebred Aussie addition.   Years ago, when we set out to find the perfect Aussie, and got Dixie our little Red Tri, Becky had her heart set on a Black Tri Female.  Well, some reds and blues later....Becky finally got her black tri girl! "Dashy" (aka THE Princess or Tink) Revelaire's She's Got the Look was Becky's 2009 Easter gift to herself.
